What an amazing story. It was like a very dark fairy tale. The characters were superb and I was attached to so many of them.
Girls are disappearing from Sawkill and this has been happening for a very long time. We have 3 girls who have experienced this tragedy in different ways. Their stories will come together to battle the beast has called Sawkill home.
Story was fast-paced and characters were well drawn out. I see a lot of reviews on the extreme feminism throughout the book. In my opinion, I did not see that. That kind of writing would have turned me off. I saw extremely strong girls. I also saw some very weak ones. I saw tough men/boys that were needed to help these girls out. There were bad men that didn't care what happens to the girls as long as they had the outcome they wanted. I did not see extreme feminism. Again, that is just my opinion.
Look forward to more from this author!
