BDSM noir. This book should not be considered an intro to the lifestyle. The heroine's initial exposure was intense, violent and disturbing. The "hero" obviously had lots of issues, and even though they were explained away in the book, I think he needs years of therapy. But, as per the requisite happy ending, they save each other. Everything in this book was so predictable, from the oh-so-easy-to-see-through storyline, to the simplistic characterizations. This book read like a porno star's autobiography. If you want BDSM sex, then this is your book. If you want characters that you can care about and a plot that is interesting, keep looking.

Considerably better than average for the genre. Shana Galliher runs across her best friend being used sexualy on a web site and hires a recovery firm to help get her loose. Shana must undergo training in the dark world of BDSM so she can aid in recoverig her friend. Lots of good errotic scenes as her agent Ranger (sounds like a dog) trains her and a little humor. The plot is decent as well. Good trining scenes and ending

BDSM erotica - very good read with nicely angst ridden hero but I definitely will not be volunteering for any human macramé projects... Like a lot of erotica, it makes for a good read but I don't want to go there.
