At first I was afraid that this book might be too similar to Harry Potter, but that fear was quickly lost. It's definitely its own book and a very good book at that! Tria is a wonderful character and I enjoyed going on her adventure even though it was very difficult for her. I did think that the end (her second year) went a little too quickly - yes, I know that it wasn't as important as the first year, but there were still some things I would have liked to know a bit more about.
