Lee Bladon puts forward a surprisingly thorough explanation of all things spiritual and scientific, based mostly on ancient writings of the Gnostics and Theosophists. It's pretty thorough, explaining spiritual concepts like the matter that makes spiritual entities, dimensions, string theory and how it applies to spirituality.
I was fascinated with String Theory and it's implications to what psychics, mediums, those who project--have experienced.
Ultimately, I've developed my own theories that don't jive with his. The most "human" part of the book is the Appendix where he discusses how to meditate, project, etc.
I even emailed this guy to discuss his theories as far as science goes--the idea that the Big Bang theorizes about what the "beginning" was (I don't think it does).
It is a substantial work, thoughtfully done. Like an encyclopedia rather than a book.
