I really enjoyed this story. Susanna was sure that women were downtrodden and men were constantly asking too much of them. But after making a scene in London her father took her to Edinburgh to help lessen her disgrace. When Laird James Gallow overhears a murder plot he, stops an attempt on Susanna and her father's lives. He finds himself wed to Susanna but finds it not the worst thing ever if only He can convince her that men aren't the enemy.
Good characters and a little intrigue as well as they unravel the truth of the would be murderers.

I have a thing for men in kilts. I adore them! This was complete trash, but thoroughly enjoyable. A very fast read.
