I picked this book up at a local book sale put on my city's library.

I have to say I was dying when I was reading this book because it's hysterical. Seriously, it brings you back to your high school days. You had the jocks, the couple who makes out everywhere and anywhere, the geeks, etc. It's funny. Charlie's the odd man out, though seems to have a decent number of friends. He deals with his awkward, weird parents like any teenager and it gets even better when his parents find his porn collection.

It's a pretty explicit book, so if you don't like books that discuss sex (ahem, gay specifically), then you may not want to pick up this book. Super eye opening.

Anyway, it's a great book and I love that the author seems to just say it like it is. It's an eye opening view into Charlie's year in high school and dealing with not only his sexuality, but the challenges that occur both at home and school.

Great read.
