I Love This Book! Before I read it I didn't know anything about cangaceiros; it was a very interesting time period in Brazil. The writer obviously did her research and the result is a beautiful engrossing saga about the love between two sisters and the consequences of the different paths they took in life. The both of them made it out of their home town, but was it really what they wanted? A very good read, I absolutely fell in love. Read It!
