I'm looking for a very old Harlequin.  I think it may have been called To Sing Me Home or Come Sing Me Home.

She (can't think of her name) is nanny to twins. I know the little girl was named Ruth but she was referred to as a "Annie Laurie" type of child.

The hero is named Colin and he's a singer.  I think the ex (who died) may have been Angela.

She marries him to care for the children but thinks he's in love with another singer.  The end of the book is her watching him on a Christmas telly special with the children and he sings a song and she suddenly realizes he loves her back.  I think it was set in Scotland.

Does this ring a bell with anyone?

THANK YOU!!  Now, hopefully, someone has a posted copy!!  I'm been wracking my brain for YEARS wondering who wrote it.

ETA:  it's not listed.  Not even in unposted books.  Waaaah.

Oh, that's gotta be frustrating. That sounds like a good book, too. Have you checked Amazon or Abe books? You may have better luck, or can at least get an ISBN# to search here by.

I checked Amazon and they don't have an ISBN for it.  I'll have to check Abe.  Thanks for the idea!

Just thought I'd let you all know, with Sarah's help, I found a copy through an ebay store. It arrived tonight!  I can't wait to dig in again.
