excellent book
I loved this book. It is well written and easy to read.
It didn't grip me like his book on WW1. he has a rather bloodless style, he devotes less than a page to the treatment of Jews during the war, he devotes a whole chapter to the parachute landing on Crete. His introductions are always among the best written.
