As Mr. McDermott's continues the story arc for Nina Wilde and Eddie Chase, the stories are getting much more unbelievable as they go. The Secret of Excalibur has a great premise, but the way he uses Excalibur is so far fetched it's funny. The book was a good read and I will definitely continue to enjoy is books.

Good adventure; fast paced; good story. I continue to enjoy Nina and Eddie. I enjoyed the shocker at the end that hinted at a bit of dark foreboding for books to come... Action cover to cover. I also enjoyed the Arthurian theme.

My first book by this author. A fairly quick and well-constructed read. The various escapades and resiliency of the main characters tend to push the extremes even for this genre. However, overall well-done, interesting and not too trying on the mind. I am looking forward to this author's next book and hope his style matures.

Half historical, half thriller. I was hoping for more historical, but the thriller was intriguing enough to keep me hooked. The ending definitely leaves me wanting more. It contains an interesting take on the various people of the Arthurian legends. A big part of the book's humor is Eddie's crass use of language. The book also concentrated heavily on Eddie's and Nina's relationship as future spouses, which is great for people following the series, but a bit of a drag for others who just picked up this book (like me).
