A good murder mystery concerning an attractive nurse who has questionable values about marrying someone wealthy and climbing up the social ladder. She overlooks her real love ( a police officer) until she is accused of murdering her ex-fiance, an unethical doctor.

This one needed a lot more dark comedic relief to make it a good book. The groundwork was there for it, it was just never developed to it's full potential.
Pierce Carver was one of Austin's richest, most successful surgeons. He was going to marry trauma nurse Rose Marie Castle and put her aching feet into glass slippers. Unfortunately, the doctor had a weakness for the allure of youth and feminine perfection. He jilted Rose Marie three years ago and she is still looking for revenge...until someone wanted him dead.
