I really enjoyed the St Louis setting and the family connections in this page turner. The tough but emotionally scarred former SEAL bodyguard is easy to fall in love with, and the heroine has some strength behind her insecurity. As long as you know going in that the immediate mystery will be solved and the larger one (who killed the siblings' parents) won't it's an enjoyable read. It looks like Daddy Bombshell by Lisa Childs will be the "heart-stopping conclusion" to the series.
