While camping 200 miles north of Toronto, Lawrence rescues 2 wolf pups who are barely two weeks old, their eyes not yet open. What a series of adventures are in store as they live with him & his wife on their 350 acres. There are engaging descriptions of the wolves' individual personalities & how they interact with people, pets & other creatures on the property, as well as descriptions of life in the far north, including making maple sugar.
