The battle known as D-Day, the invasion of France on June 6, 1944 has been remembered by many books, films and articles. The landings were at five different beaches. Losses were heavy. We went to take back Europe from the Germans.

This is a great book, it tells more about the war, the soldiers and things that are nto in the history book.

I am not into this type of book but my husbands favorite movie is Fat Man and little boy and with that I wanted to know about the war.
