There are a lot of twists and turns in the plot, and I kept getting fooled. I was impressed with how well this author writes. I have never heard of her, but I think she is very skillful. I liked a lot of her heroine's feminism, which was pretty improbable, given the time frame, but the book manages to pull it off because Ravenna (the hero) is the daughter of a very unique man, and he taught her to think for herself. I would recommend this to romance writers and mystery writers, too.
