What a great book! Set in the Southern Mecca of Atlanta, this story has unbelievable twists and turns. Readers will not believe the lengths to which Fred Tokars went to control and then rid himself of his wife.

Following the drama associated with greed and ruthless behavior, this book does not disappoint in teaching the reader how far human beings can go when they have no restraint, when they feel powerful and act evil. This is a good book, not a great one, that tells the story of a great lady (apparently) and a bad husband.
The way the story unfolds makes the reader once again ask the same question: why couldn't the victim did not see this coming? Already the behavior patterns of this individual was enough reason to put a lot of distance in between, but somehow the victim never realizes until is too late.
After reading countless books on non fiction crime I enjoyed this book for mainly one reason: it had enough pages! The more one reads it seems the faster one finishes books. The writer does a good job but in the end I felt that 3.5 Stars is adequate for this book.

OMG!! this book had me so angry at how evil parents can be and wondering how the younger brother in this book was doing as it really only focused on the older brother who was awake during the mothers murder. Wow what an amazing read this book was though..how easily some people are fooled by greed..
