I saw this author/series mentioned in the plus sized thread in the book bazaar. Does anyone know the order or at least the first 5 or so? I looked on here and amazon and there are a bunch and my internet connection takes a long time to open them all to see which is what order. Sometimes I luck out on amazon and someone's done a list but couldnt' find one for these.

also, anyone familar with these and could recommend them? or what they're like?

I have just started reading the first book.  I put it down by the 3rd chapter.  There is way too much profanity for me in it, with multiple sexual innuendos.  The plot itself sounded interesting, so it was a shame I found these other problems with it.  I may try to read again at a later time, but I'm not really sure.

Another good site to look up series order is Stop You're Killing Me. For some reason, the link feature isn't working when I post it.

I'm about 3/4 through the first book 'murder can kill your social life'. It's pretty interesting but told from the 1st person so it's sorta neat to follow along with what she's discovering. as usual there's conflict with her and the cops but not as bad as some I've read. And as Joy pointed out there are some sexual things but nothing that offended me as well as some of the c haracthers using the 'f' word and 'g-d' word which I know would offend some people. The character hasnt' endeared herself to me like some others I've read and liked but I think I'll enjoy t his on but should get the hang of her writing after a couple of books I think.
