A friend gave me this book because I'm starting to learn Italian, but it is definitely not for a total beginner. It appears to be a very popular romantic novel. Alberto Bevilacqua is a renowned Italian screenwriter, novelist, journalist and film director born in 1934 in Parma, Italy.
