This book provides a method of making quilts using strip-quilting and your serger. Construction of one-patch and log cabin quilts are discussed in detail. Various arrangements of the log cabin pattern are shown. Construction of a tied quilt is discussed from purchasing the fabric to constructing the back, including borders and inserting a ruffle at the edge. Instructions are also given for a making matching dust ruffle and pillow shams. Fabric purchase charts (metric too!) for twin, double, queen, and king sizes of both bedspreads and coverlets are included. Instructions are given for making your own calculations for the quilt size to match odd-sized mattresses.
