Interesting mystery. Sex gets a more philosophical and ethical consideration by the lead character who is a "sexual surrogate" whose unexpected involvement in the career has her reflecting positively on the role of "courtesan" which she identifies with. Her roommate and good friends is a priest preaching a ministry to the homeless and she supports his ministry with her earnings- another small moral issue. A running thread comparing morality and ethics among characters creates interest and the interview techniques of a policewoman are highlighted interestingly with the suspect who evaluates and learns from them.
Quite a nice little book, short and quick with a little more reflection than just mere who did it and why.

This is a fun, very fast read, with a real mystery in it. Surprisingly very little actual sex--so if you're looking for a Laurell K. Hamilton level of sex, not what you want. However, if you're looking for a fun mystery where you actually have to think a little about whodunit, pick this one.
