Great follow up to Valley of the Dolls, The chacters are still as strong and interesting as the first and the author who took over I must say did a GREAT job staying true to the story, plus we finally find out what happened to Anne Welles,Lyon Burke and that nasty Nellie O'Harra.A real page turner,I highly recommend it!!

Not as good as the original. The timeline didn't sync up so that bothered me a bit, but still a good light read.

I originally read this when it was first published. I thought Rae Lawrence did a great job of staying true to Jackie Susann's characters while allowing them to age realistically. Her explanation of how she played with the timeline added to the credulity of the book. Recommended.
