Nice easy read. If you are into cowboy romances, this one does not fall short. Also has a bit of mystery to it. The ending is fairly predictable, but it is enjoyable in the process. I would say that only 5 - 10% of this book has heavy "physical activity."
Overall it is a good book.

Not McKenna's best work. This book appears to have been given as an outline to a college writing class and they collectively wrote it. The typos are the fault of the publisher, but the mistakes in the story line are all on the author. Kam's father is 48 years old in chapter 2, but 3 months later he's 55. "Unlike Kam, he knew his mother", but 2 sentences later he lost his mother at his birth. Inconsistencies like this jar the reader out of the flow of the story. It seems very important that we know Kam drove a Toyota Prius(on dirt roads in Wyoming) - it's mentioned several times. She's a Montana girl; I don't think she would choose to rent that vehicle to drive on the rutted roads on the ranch. If this is book 1, I'm not interested in the series.
