This series has a wonderful library setting. I would have given this book and the entire series a 5 star rating except for one thing. I don't enjoy all the kid dialogue--especially the little girl. She is extremely chatty and somehow boring in my opinion. So I just grit my teeth and skip quickly through all of her dialogue to get to the real heart of the mystery. And it's not that I don't like children because I do. But truthfully, I don't usually read books that focus on the activities of grade-schoolers. The only reason I have continued with this series is because I like the mystery aspect of each episode. That part is great. And of course, as alway with Guidepost books, it is a "clean" read with no appalling street language.
