This is part two, the first being the Daughters of Terra. I thought the story was pretty good and I liked how the author gave you glimpses into real people and the emotions that might accompany their situations.
I didnt think there was very much sex for an erotica book but what they did have was pretty good.
The only thing I didnt care for in this book that I didnt find a problem in the first was that the other planet was TOO MUCH like earth. If your going to have another species from another planet abduct humans than atleast let there be some real differences!

Futuristic erotic romance by Theolyn Boese, and sequel to Daughters of Terra. Human woman Thea is traveling to the home planet of her two new husbands. She is slowly recovering from a vicious physical assault that resulted in a miscarriage. And, she and her husbands are taking a new wife. When Thea gets to her new "home," she is again faced with some prejudice, and handles everything in stride. I have mixed feelings about this storyline. The appearance of the "Gods" and "Goddesses" was a little strange. There aren't that many sex scenes, but it does feature m/m, f/f, menage-a-trois, and menage-a-quartre and D/s sex scenes. The book is fair.

While this book is a continuation of the first book I truly enjoyed it. This book not only deals with the adjustment issues of the women taken from earth, it also deals with issues of prejudice, distrust, and the difficulties in building and keeping relationships. I thought the author did a very good job of building this world and showing the complex emotions, fears and insecurities that individuals have that come into and affect relationships. She does a good job of balancing the sex out with what I felt were very good representations of the difficulties of balancing different cultures, beliefs, thoughts, and feelings in different types of relationships from romantic, familial and friendship. I couldn't help but want to pump my fist and was thinking "you go girl!" when Thea and Deashen's mother get into a confrontation. I was impressed with the way the author balanced Thea's vulnerability and insecurity not only from her "transplantation", but also the attack on her, with the strength she showed in facing off with Deashen's mother. I loved the conversation between Thea and the Queen as well. Thea showed her steel core and still maintained a certain grace that only left me feeling respect for Thea. I definitely felt it was a great read and well worth the money.
