I believe this is Tesler's second in the Carrie Carlin series. It failed to live up to what could have been a good read. Set in Key West with a boat race backdrop the potential was there for some salty Key West characters, but there was little attention paid to learning anything about the characters, not even Carrie. They were all flat. They spoke their parts as the plot trudged on to it's obvious conclusion. Sorry Ms Tesler, a great opportunity falls as flat as the plot and characters.

2nd in series. A pretty good cozy mystery. I did like the first one in the series a little better.
