Having come out of an extended period of singleness and exertive dating I found this book fascinating. It helps you compare your own experience and process it all.

A story about a nice Jewish girl who wants to get married, but can't seem to find the right guy, so she decides she's going to kill herself. She plans everything out, and the book is basically her suicide note to her parents. It's not a sad book, by any means.
This is a book about a girl who makes you laugh while she debates committing suicide.
This book is a bit dated, but a fun read nonetheless. It is one of the predecessors of the chick-lit genre.
Did not read it, so I can't offer a review.
