*These were written years ago while I was near the middle of my depression and my grandmother was in the hospital for Open Heart Surgery. So please excuse the depressing feel of these pieces.*

1)
I'm waiting here
Why did you leave?
It's been so long since I've seen your face.
Tell me, are you in a better place?

2)
I couldn't get up to confront my life
It's not worth it any more

3)
It's cold on the inside
but there is a fire on the outside
a constant fire
don't leave me here alone
Walking to the end of the line
Everyone says it's going to be fine
You left me here alone
All I feel is pain
There's nothing to live for
What is there to gain?
Blood leaves a stain
Broken glass
Splintered wire
Shattered heart
A constant fire
Don't leave me here alone
Ruined dreams
Jagged lies
Splattered pleas
Silent cries
