Tombboy Dusty McCall cane rope with the best of them. When she decides to undergo an extreme makeover, she wins the heart of rancher-next-door Ty Coltrane. When the latest rodeo turns deadly, Ty fears Dusty may be in real danger.

From Back Cover:
It was high time Dusty McCall found herself a boyfriend. The tomboy might have been able to lasso a steer at fifty paces, but she had no idea how to wrangle a man. One thing was clear, a makeover was needed. Goodbye cowboy boots, hello high heels!
Rancher Ty Coltrane couldn't believe Dusty's transformation from rough-and-tumble cowgirl to fresh-faced beauty. Had the woman of his dreams been living next door all along? When questions were raised about a competing suitor's sinister and suspicious activities, Ty knew he had to win Dusty's affections before things turned deadly. But no matter the cost, Ty would do anything to protect the woman he loved.
First Harlequin I've read, as well as the first BJ Daniels book I've come across: I've read bad romances before, but I didn't know there were dull ones too!
For a book this short there seems to be too many points of view, too many storylines, and too much detail about Bull riding (wrangling?) that detract from the overall plot.
And for a 21 year old the h is a bit immature (she act more like she's 16). And the she has four older brothers, but there aren't any real older brother moments.
My advice: Don't spend a credit on it, If you really want to read it get it as part of a deal.
