If I hadn't been reading/listening to this while driving on a long road trip, I would have chosen something more interesting. However, I was trapped in my car and listened to the whole thing.
If you watch a lot of movies, you may enjoy all of the references to pirate (and other) movies. I think that when there isn't much plot, the author heaps lots of action. I just wasn't impressed with this book. When I don't agree with an author's brand of humor, I tend to assign 3 stars to the book.
