I tried very hard to like this book, but the main character came off as so mind-numbingly stupid that she really grated on my nerves. If the main charcter were a little stronger it could be good but the way she just goes along with what everyone told her got old fast.

Have you ever wondered how people get "sucked" into cults? Melody Carlson has done a great job of showing the reader how this happens over a period of time. She shows the reader how a person can get so caught up with demons that she forgets the power of God. If you know anyone who is off-balance in their Christian faith, this may be the book for you. The reader is drawn into such compassion for this poor women & where it is leading her. That companssion is what will help in dealing with anyone who is involved in a cult.

I have loved every book by this author; until now. This book actually scared me. I read it in less than twenty four hours because I couldn't put it down.
