Silly cat, Silly cat what are you doing now?
Watching TV and going Meow!!!

Silly cat, Silly cat what are you doing now?
Playing with puppy the way I'm not allowed!!!

Silly cat, Silly cat won't you be good?
Behave, you say I don't know if I should!!!

Silly cat, Silly cat let me show you how.
Stay over there and please don't growl.

Silly cat, Silly cat leave the tree be.
Thank you, thank you, now come here to me.

Silly cat, Silly cat don't scratch the dog's nose,
Always make friends instead of foes.

Silly cat, Silly cat I hope you have learned,
behaving will mean rewards are earned.

Silly cat, Silly cat, whether it's petting or a treat,
You will always be loved for being so sweet.

I love your poem about the cat. You obviously know cat behavior and have seen all the big and little behaviors that cats do. I had to laugh about the tree part, because just tonight one of my cats got a claw stuck in a branch on my Christmas tree and dragged it across the floor, but it remained standing and she disentangled herself. Very nice and appreciated by this cat lover for its humor and accuracy. ~SW
