Today, for the 2nd time this week, I found a book offered on my Daily Digest that is another version of a book on my WL. In the past I received emails PBS noting that a book on my WL is available in another edition or version of the same title. Is this no longer a practice on PBS? I certainly haven't received a 'similar to WL book' email in a long time and find it odd to see other versions of books on WL available on my Daily Digest twice in the same week. The oddest part is that both books are by the same author, Jacqueline Winspear. |

Thanks. Though I wonder what gives. Some of us get the emails, others don't. SpellCheck works for some, for me, and I assume probably others, it's become SpellCzech. Then there's the 'order more from memebr' button which I haven't seen any of my requests for years now. Seems not the same bits function uniformly for everyone. |

That's an interesting point, Marya, cause I'm one who keeps losing the spellcheck function. I sometimes get the 'order more' and sometimes don't. |

It could be that your email provider has decided that the "similar to" emails are spam, and that they are either sending them to your spam folder, or even blocking them altogether. You can check your "Club Communications"* folder to see if the email was sent. If it was sent, but you didn't receive it, check out the Help doc "If you think you are not getting your PaperBackSwap emails..." If the emails weren't sent, I can think of three reasons. 1) The books is already on your WL -- maybe on hold? 2) You at some time unsubscribed to all "similar to..." emails, or to "similar to..." emails for that particular title, or 3) the edition that was posted isn't linked to the edition you have on your WL. Publishers are supposed to link their book to other editions of the same title when they publish it. If they don't do that, the book aren't linked in various book databases. Also, non-ISBN (those short little ISBNs -- usually 5 or 6 digits) are never linked. You can use the Wish List Expander to test to see if an edition is linked to another edition of a title. *Your Club Communications folder is on the yellow bar near the top of your main My Account page. |

I generally check my spam before deleting it. |
