Simon Goldhill is a professor of Greek Literature and Culture at the University of Cambridge and a fellow of King's College, Cambridge.[1] He is renowned for his work on Greek tragedy. His publications on Classical literature include "Language, Sexuality and Narrative", "Reading Greek Tragedy", "The Poet's Voice", and "Love, Sex and Tragedy: How the ancient world shapes our lives".
In 2009 he was elected a fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
