A lot goes on in this book! It is book two of Lisa T. Bergren's Homeward Trilogy. Only one of the three siblings in the series is settled. Odessa and her husband Bryce are on their horse ranch in Colorado, but they are having a season in which nothing goes right, and their lives and others are in danger as they face a murderous criminal from the past. Moriah has been left penniless by her manager. and has perilous adventures coming home. She also meets a man... Nic is kidnapped and forced to work on a ship as it travels in stormy waters. I found Nic;s story to be the most interesting and look forward to the third book of the series, Claim. Good adventure story!
