150 devotional-style stories, complete with music and lyrics, unique ragged-edge paper, indexes by title, first line, and writer. This comes with a cd of devotional songs. A truly beautiful book!

150 Devotional style stories complete with music and lyrics.
Interesting backstories for some well known hymns. Each hymn's music is printed on the left-hand page and each one-page history is printed on the right-hand page. As mentioned in the description, the page edges are ragged on purpose, but I found this feature to be annoying when I tried to flip through the book or even sometimes when turning pages.

This book is a blessing. So enjoy reading the stories behind the songs. I love the hymns and the history.

I bought two copies of this book. I use it to sing along in the car with Chritian Music. I can't always remember the words when I hear a song on the radio. It is also helpful, just to read the lyrics, they are uplifting.

I found this at Goodwill! What a find, (0.75) wonderful hymns and the stories behind them. I picked it up thinking I would share it with our choir director but after finding that it has so many of my childhood favorites, I have to keep it.
