This is the first in the Commandment series. While this is a pretty good mystery, it not the best of the series. I caught the major clue to the book about midway through the book. Still, a good novel. Sanders is always good.

Dr. Thorndecker has applied for a research grant to investigate the "cellular clock". Samuel Todd investigates the foundation and its intangibles. When he arrives he finds a note for him saying Thorndecker Kills!!! Good book
