Good read, I did not want to put it down.Does have a few repetitive spots, but other than those; a great rock & roll story all about sex, drugs and rock & rollin!

I've read most of the 'rock n roll' sagas.... Crue, Tommy Lee, etc.
I was impressed with this one, Slash is honest without being cheesy, introspective without being boring.
An entertaining read.

This book was fantastic! Slash's life from childhood to present is really quite extraordinaty & told from his witty first person perspective. This is a true rock and roll story of substance & I couldn't put it down. It provides insight not only into his life but all the band members of GNR. Loved it!!

Interesting read, traces the history of GnR from LA to superstardom, then his leaving the band in the mid 90s. My only complaint is that the book is full of constant drug use and promiscuity, does not paint him or anyone else in the band in a good light. I realize it's reality and the guy is an incredibly talented musician, just hard to believe he could make such great music while abusing every drug in existence.
