Good book, but not as good as his previous work, Grand Central Winter. An interesting look at a school for "at risk" boys. It is pretty much a coming of age story with a triumphant ending. However, read Grand Central Winter next and you will find out what happened to that triumphant boy when he grew up. Quick reading and I do recommend it.
