I was very impressed by this debut novel by an unknown author from New Zealand. I found the book to be very well-written and well edited, which is such a rarity for new authors.
While this book is a complete story in itself, the author's blub on the back flap of the book mentions a second and a third book already written and ready to be published. However, this book came out in 2005, and there has been no word on any other novels by Cat Collins that I can find. I did find a short story by her, but nothing novel length. I hope to one day be able to read more of her work and continue reading about this world she has built.
