There was A. Lot. Of things happening, loads of people and their POV. I've never read from this author before and this might be a first book in a series but it had me confused with who is who and what they are like I would need to read he other books in her other series to understand this one. Don't get me wrong it was good but I felt like I was dropped in the middle of a war that I don't know what their sides are about. The chemistry between the Nate and Sevon is out there and they bring readers into their world and their darkness is their pasts. 12 years since they last saw each other due to an accident, a coma and Nate's father to push Sav into running and Nate into depression. His story is rough to read what bits and pieces here in this story from verbally and physical abuse from his father and the killing threats towards Sav.
