Taking a break from the saddle, John Slocum boards a southbound coach and plans on doing no more than exchanging howlies with his fellow riders and getting some shut-eye. Two hours later, he's been shot at, knocked out cold, and has seen two passengers get ripped full of holes. Now Slocum's back on his mount, in pursuit of the murderous gang that looted the stage and took off in the desert dust with a beautiful female hostage. Hard experience has taught Slocum to steer clear of other folks' troubles, But no man worthy of the name can abandon a lady in distress or fail to return the fire of a cowardly band of stagecoach priates.
