This is a well-written, thorough biography of one small woman who served God among the people of northern China around the time of World War II. Despite every setback and seemingly insurmountable obstacle, she did what seemed impossible. A riveting read.

For anyone who Loves Gladys Alyward, you will enjoy reading about her life! I watched "Inn of Sixth Happiness" and listened to the book on tape and read every children's book about her life! I cannot get enough of the stories on her life. I read this book in one sitting (till 3 a.m.!). I highly recommend this book!
