While the overall idea for this story was good, I found the heroine's irrational dislike of her hometown immature and irritating and therefore couldn't fully enjoy the story. I couldn't understand why Drew liked her when she didn't seem to value what he did. The secondary characters were okay but inconsistent (the teen niece wants the protagonists together except when she resents the time they spend together, the heroine's mom is kind and understanding, except that Emily has never felt understood). Also, I know this is in the Inspired line, but I think even serious Christians kiss more than once before the marriage proposal. If you like chaste romances, this may be a good choice.
