From the back cover: "A kangaroo is partially pocket. A giraffe is noticeably neck. And an elephant?

Children and adults alike will revel in the witty text and surprising, humorous artwork of this completely captivating book."

This beautifully illustrated book was one of my son's favorites when he was a toddler. It also may have contributed to his amazing vocabulary at a very young age. The author describes a variety of animal life (fish, bees, a bear, a giraffe, etc.) by using adjectives that start with the same letter as the adverbs. An intelligent, colorful, wonderfully witty book that is fun to read out loud.
