I found this book to be too full of miscellaneous characters that were not necessary to the story, which just made me confused trying to remember who was who. It took till about three-quarters of the way through the book before any actual action occurred, and the only reason I got that far in the book was because I forced myself not to quit it, since it cost me two credits! The action itself was good, although farfetched. I guess I'd have to talk to a real sniper to see how realistic it is/was. I also didn't care for the book performer/reader and found him to be boring, with little voice variation between characters. I doubt if I'll read any more Stephen Hunter books. :-(
