I absolutely adore paranormal / fairy tale mash-ups and this one certainly didn't disappoint. It was interesting to also throw Jack the Ripper into the mix although I think the story would have been fine without that. While this does stray quite a bit from just a simple retelling, I enjoyed the subtleties of the reimagining (Alba/Snow White living with 7 sisters and the poisoned apple scone were neat twists).
