I found this book to be quick-paced and exciting, but the ending surrounding the state police commander really ticked me off. Still, all-in-all, a pretty good book.

As someone who listens to books more than anything else while driving, I like to get books that I normally don't read or authors I don't know. I made a great choice with this book.
The plot is basic (terrorists take over a mall & hold hostages), but Hunter makes the most of it. The story was paced quickly and he kept the back stories short, giving out just the info necessary to show how the characters got where they were in the story.
Finding out after listening that this is the 2nd 'Ray Cruz' book, I plan on reading/listening to the first.
