I enjoyed this book very much- when this author is at her best she creates characters you don't like much to begin with but by the end of the book you're in love with them! Romy is called back to Ireland to take care of her ailing mother, whom she felt never loved her, and reunites with her half sister and brother, who she never connected with. The character's relationships grow and change and really become heartwarming. Sometimes Sheila's books have unsatisfying endings, but this one was just what you were hoping for! One of my favorites by her.
