In a novel rich with heartache, deeply felt spirituality, and down-to-earth humor, a talented woman dares to face her demons--as a secret from the past threatens the love she's fought so hard to keep.

This is a great book. If you work through the beginning, you will be addicted to the story and what happens to her. A great story of grace, and how God works through all things.

I love this book. The characters sing. The story unfolds at a sweet pace. I wanted to read it all in one sitting but savored it over several days. I felt good when I was done...a perfect read.

This was a good read, but kinda drawn out.
Kept my interest until the last few chapters, which I skimmed over
just to be done with it.

This is a wonderful story told in first person of a child/adult who has all sorts of difficulties yet is able to move beyond them until she is smothered by depression. When she finally gets medical help for her depression she knows she can go on living but she also knows that this is something she will deal with the rest of her life. For anyone who has ever had to deal with depression, I would recommend this book.
