Does anyone have any of these books? I posted them to my wish list and apparently nobody has any. There is only one and its the ABC book by Dr. Seuss. I can't afford to buy all these books but would really like to do the curriculum. Anyone have any ideas?

Here are the books I am looking for:

  • Children's Everyday Bible
  • The Berenstain Bears Big book of Science and Nature
  • Things People Do by Civardi & Cartwright
  • The Lion Storyteller Bedtime Book by Bob Hartman
  • Eric Carle's Animal Animals by Carle by Civardi & Cartwright
  • American Tall Tales
  • A Treasury of Mother Goose Rhymes
  • A Family Treasure of Little Golden Books
  • The Complete Adventures of Peter Rabbit
  • Milly-Molly-Mandy Story Book
  • Stories from Around the World by Amery
  • Children's Book of Virtues
  • A Child's Book of Art
  • People by Spier
  • Stories from Africa by SIM
  • The Gods Must be Angry
  • Then and Now by Amery
  • New Toes for Tia by Dinkins
  • First Thousand Words in English by Amery and Cartwright
  • ABC by Dr. Seuss
  • Why do Tigers Have Stripes by Unwin
  • What's Under the Sea by Tahta
  • The Year at Maple Hill Farm by Provensen
  • Sonlight Core B Instructor's Guide
  • Developing the Early Learners, Vol I by Bibeau
  • Developing the Early Learners, Vol II by Bibeau
  • Developing the Early Learners, Vol III by Bibeau
  • Developing the Early Learners, Vol IV by Bibeau
  • The Story of Me

Library or inter-library loan could help.

I have looked at the library and inter-library loan unfortunately there was only one or two that our libraries actually have. I was really shocked.

Don't have many ideas for you because a few of those were on my wishlist as well! LOL I've seen a few of those pop over over the last month or so (First thousand words, story of me...) I've gotten a few here from deals and also on bookmooch. The Sonlight forums have a spot for used curriculum and I've gotten a few there too. I saved you as a buddy. I come across these sometimes at library sales and I've already listed them and had them be snatched up quickly..but I will keep you in mind I come across any more! I'm also doing core b in the fall and am piecing together a curriculum, but I have most of what you listed and if I see duplicates I'll try and pass them along :-)

Thank you so much. I saved you as a buddy as well. Its nice to have someone else that is doing the same thing with their child. I'm going to some yard sales this weekend hoping to find a few books on the list. No book sales here around right now.

I am also going to use the core b program this fall. I've gotten most of them through used bookstores, used through amazon, library sales, and borrowing a few. I don't have them all but one thing I'm going to do is use some other books too like some from the list for Living Books Curriculum foundation year. Whatever I don't find from the two lists and/or don't get to this year, I'll save for the following year for kindergarten. I will be on the lookout for extras from your list. Tiffany

Hi Ericka, I am doing Sonlight K and 3 this year, I do not have any of the books you listed.  But, I will be happy to keep an eye out for you also.  I hope to go to Goodwill or the Salvation Army this week-end.  Blessings, Carrie
